On behalf of the organizing committee, we cordially invite you to attend the ACACR Inaugural Annual Meeting at AACR 2017 at 7:00 - 10:00 pm on April 2, 2017, Washington, DC.
 
At the Inaugural Annual Meeting, we will announce the official establishment of ACACR.   ACACR serves Chinese Americans in cancer research (primarily basic and translational scientists).  Our mission is to prevent and cure cancer through fostering research among Chinese Americans in all areas of cancer including cancer biology, etiology, genetics, epidemiology, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.  ACACR also promotes interactions and collaborations among professionals of Chinese background and/or ethnicity in cancer research through the exchange of information in education, technology, employment, and business opportunities.   ACACR is also forging relationships with other professional organizations in the field of cancer research, including American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), US Chinese Anti-Cancer Association (USCACA), and Chinese American Hematologist and Oncologist Network (CAHON). We hope that ACACR will not only be the major organization that represents all of the Chinese Americans in cancer research, but also the platform that mutual resources and information can be exchanged freely.
 
The future ACACR Annual Meetings will be held concurrently with the AACR Annual Meetings to maximize the exposure of our ACACR Annual Meetings, as well as to provide logistic convenience for our attendees.  The ACACR Annual Meeting is a specialized  event  designed  for  the  attendees to exchange recent advances in cancer research in the United States and Asian Pacific regions and to explore opportunities for collaborations; in line with our mission to facilitate translational and early clinical research & development in cancer research.
